Package process for sending a package to Elder Taylor Malolo in Madrid, Spain

Please be aware of these specific package instructions when sending anything to Elder Malolo. The fees are outrageous.  He has had to pay over $300 for packages that have been sent and most of the contents are not higher than $50. Follow these helpful instructions so that we can work together and minimize the extra cost. Thank You so much for you love and continued support for Elder Malolo!!!

Diablo burger challenge

We ate the Diablo burger and I did fine but the others were all
dying...except my companion who gave up!

"Como lo llaman!"

Bienvenidos a todos a mi semana,
So this week I walked, and talked...walked, and talked...walked
and walked and walked!!! This week all we were able to do was contact
on the street. So we decided to go out to a pueblo and walk all the
way home from it. After looking it up and everything it would have
taken 4 hours and 13 minutes to get home. So we did it! Contacted
every soul we saw and we got home in about 6 hours. My feet and my
legs were just dying and I felt like I was going to die!:D but you
know what, I did it with love which is all that matters.
I don't have too much time but I am studying Revelations, which is
actually not as bad as everyone makes it seem, and I have received a
lot of revelation from it. I encourage to everyone to study the books
of Isaiah and revelations. You may think they are hard but here is
something that I realized while reading it. Do you think the Lord
would give us scripture we can't understand? A seventy (Elder Moreira)
also commented on this saying the same thing, Isaiah and Refelations
are the easiest books to understand!! So just do it, por fa!
Os quiero muchísimo, que tengan una buena semana chavales!!
Élder Malolo!!

"Te gusta cantar, no?"

Hello my beloved familia and friends!!!!
This week has just been so much fun! (That was sarcasm para que sepáis). I have my new companion Elder Loosle and President literally gave me this challenge "By the end of your time together I want your companion to be testifying and preaching repentance to everyone he sees" because he is super shy which is the opposite of what I am! So this week I had to kick his butt into shape and get him going and it is working! This next week we are taking up the challenge "Run for 100" which is receiving 100 references in a week and my record has been 93 referrals, which is only 7 off but I'll get it one day!!!
We had to drop a lot of our investigators this week cause they are just not progressing and we prayed and fasted to know if we should do so. I hope one day Elders or Hermanas will coma and open them up to the gospel cause everyone will have their chance and also Doctrina y Convenios 29:7. So we did a lot of member pass by's cause we have a Family Mission Plan for everyone in our ward so we did that a lot and it has had a lot of success!
Nothing really eventful happened, until yesterday. It was during church and bishop came up to me and he said "Elder Malolo, you like to sing right?" I said I like to but it doesn't sound good haha but then he said "I would love it if you could sing a solo hymn for the special music number for my sons baptism. I just froze, like WHAT!? Soooo I had a couple hours to prepare myself to embarrass myself. I chose to do "Acompáñame" which I don't know what it is in English but afterward everyone was crying (cause I sucked or they felt the spirit I don't know) but it was really good! And the baptism went smoothly and I was rewarded with tons of food!!!
Other than that this week was kind of lame, but next week I promise it'll get good and my emails will be fun to read haha I love you all and hope you have a great week aaaaaand

                                         HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Transfers are Here. Elder Taylor Malolo in Spain

What's up family!!
Well today transfers is here, and I'm getting a new companion!
Elder Phillips is on his way to the North and I'm going to be
finishing the training of an Elder named Elder Loosle. I am also
District Leader again, so this transfer will be fun!! I was talking
with mission president the other day because he came to my district
meeting last week and he said to me "Elder Malolo you are becoming
exactly who the Lord wants you to be!" I was so pumped!!!!! I don't
feel too different, I just feel smarter, being able to make decisions
easily and without hesitation. But that's besides the point!!!!
This week we were able to get to a family that lives very very far
away by bus, but we said screw we are going to meet them. When we did
they gave us 11 names of people THEY have been teaching!! They were
doing work out there for the missionaries cause nobody has been out
there for 2 years. I am so glad that they took upon themselves this
responsibility to spread the gospel. The blessings will come, I just
know it!
We had to drop a lot of people this week, I kind of hit a point
that I'm here por la siega not to just waste my time teaching eternal
investigators. After doing that we had a lot of success with our other
investigators!
On Saturday we had a contact war with the Hermanas which is where
you contact for like an hour or 45 minutes and you try to get as many
references by contacting as possible. Here in Spain we get used to
contacting by ourselves and not as a companionship so Elder Phillips
and I split (still in sight and sound for all you stiff missionaries)
and in 45 minutes Elder Phillips got 3 referrals and I ended up
getting 22! When we met back with the Hermanas we had won 25 to 2 and
they had to make us lunch that day. That's pretty worth it to me!
We decided to make language study more fun and so now we play ping
pong and we recite or memorize things in Spanish. If one of us scores,
or one of us messes up the scripture or whatever, you get stung (when
the person turns around and you smash the ball at the losers back and
it stings!) so it makes us learn more scriptures, and get good at ping
pong at the same time!
There's not much else I can't think of right now...but I love you
all!! Have a great week to come and work hard in whatever you do!!

"¡Causa una crisis económica dondequiera que ir!"

Helloooo my family,
This week I was able to build such a good relationship with the
members!! One day we had a huge Noche De Hogar actividad and so we
have a DJ in our ward and they were playing music while everyone was
playing games and stuff, so I go up to him and I say "Hey Aldo, do
some cool mixing and stuff we need some energy in here!" And he tells
me that he wants me to do it while he goes somewhere real fast and so
I take over the DJ kit and thanks to Dan (Jesse and Christians Dad) I
had experience with DJ stuff before and so I started mixing and the
member came back and was so happy that he invited us to his house and
missionaries had not been there for years!! We found a couple new
investigators there and have started teaching them!
Another, is there is a man who comes to church with his family (the
wife is a member) and he loves the church but won't get baptized and
will not accept the missionaries. Especially cause they live 3 and a
half hours away by Bus which is not an exaggeration! So I bring my
ukulele everywhere, and at the end of church I just play it while
people mingle for a while. He came up to me and asked me to sing a
song, so I pick my favorite one "Eternas Pueden Ser las Familias" and
sing it for everyone. Little did I know he likes to sing too! He
invited us over THAT NIGHT to have a Noche De Hogar and the wife was
literally in tears. When we went over, after the long ride, he invited
3 kids over about 11, 16, and 20 years old. The dad of these kids is a
less active who works a lot but his kids never got baptized. After
sharing a message about reaching our full potential the 20 year old
stands up and says "I don't know why I stood up, and I don't know why
I want to say this...but I think you guys are right." I immediately
invited him to baptism and he accepted. Right after, the father we
were with stands up and says "Elders, my daughters are almost at the
age of baptism. I want to be the one who baptizes them. Please come
over next week and we can talk more." You can only imagine that at
this point my insides were literally exploding from excitement. I look
over at my companion and his jaw was to the floor. So being the mean
older companion I look at him and I say "Elder Phillips, I think you
have something you want to share with us." He just looks at me and
looks at the father and goes "ummm.....we are going to bring brownies
for you all next week" and we just all started laughing. It was a good
day haha.
So the title of this email is in Spanish for those who don't know.
It is a moment from my Zone Leader telling me during a lunch at a
members house "you cause a crisis in wherever you go to eat" that is
because we have been working out hard in the mornings, running some
days, boxing some days, doing hills some days. So the result of
working out hard for me is now I just want to eat a TON of food. We
were eating at this one families house and I finished my food in about
5 minutes. So they get me more, and I finish it. Basically I ate 7
plates of food until I had eaten the whole pot that they made and I
was still so hungry but I told them I was ok haha.
The last little story I have is about a family we found a while
ago that we started teaching. So we taught them the first lesson and
after that they fell off the face of the planet. They also lived about
2 hours away by bus so we couldn't just go out there, we gotta use our
time wisely you know! A couple days ago we got a call from the husband
telling us he has been reading the Book of Mormon and has a lot of
questions. We went over there and he brought up every question in the
book. THEN he tells us he went onto a antimormon website to find the
"impossible questions" you know, the ones that "prove the church
wrong" and I put those quotations cause NOTHING AND NO-ONE can prove
the church wrong. So I had to answer his questions cause my companion
got to the point where he could only answer in English cause his
Spanish wasn't sufficient and when all was over our investigator sits
back in his chair and says "This is the most correct church I have
ever learned about!". So we committed him to baptism but he said no,
but he wants to go step by step and he said he would come to church
next week. His wife, is already on board for baptism and his 2 kids
but we need his consent and the family really wants him to stop being
stubborn haha.
That's all that happened this week, just normal old me:) have a
great week to come, and share the gospel with someone cause it's a lot
easier than you think! Os quiero, tengáis una buena semana guajes!
